about

Written and recorded at home during a bit of a Covid meltdown. Think it captures the feeling of melancholy and isolation.

lyrics

Rollin On

There's a little cabin in the woods
I build my fire, i chop my wood
I breathe the sweet country air

There's a little path I walk along
Beneath the trees, stars & sun
There's a little stream tricklin' on

Now we're just rollin on
We stand together one by one
Now we're just rollin on
A little rain must fall

We played the game, we played to win
Rolled the dice, pissed in the wind
Drowned our sorrows in whiskey & gin

A fire still shimmers in your eyes
Through the clouds you still shine bright
And like the phoenix... you will rise
